Dear husband (DH) and I found a treasure of a mom and pop diner right in SE Washington DC . As soon as I get the name and address will post. DH had bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado on wheat toast. I had crab cake, eggs and crab cake. On a scale of 1-10 for atmosphere, I give it a 10. Felt like I was eating at my mother's house. Scale score for food is 8. Family that owns raised children right in DC, so kids are Washingtonians like DH and myself.
